We were asked to take ten freshmen and sophomore students on a short-term study abroad program during winter break between semesters. We flew on January 3rd at 12:30 pm on a direct flight to Shanghai. After a five hour delay (and one student misplacing his boarding pass and having to walk through the airport to get it reprinted), we boarded the one-hour flight to Fuzhou.
Lisa arrived in the morning of the same day and had not slept yet. She met us at the airport with the Hwa Nan bus. She had water bottles and a snack all ready for us.
We got checked into our rooms. We were even assigned the same apartment we had last time we were here a little over a year ago. (It still had some things in the cupboards we left!)

It was a little after 2:30 am before we fell asleep. Good thing breakfast got bumped until 10:00 am.
