For some people, Christmas is all about presents. At our house, Christmas is a lot about food, baking in particular.
Everyone likes to help out and everyone has their own preferences for special cookies to try.
So, it makes sharing the Christmas baking fun and easy.
We put some in the freezer to spread them out over the holiday.
We spent one rainy day of our break in Seattle. The Frye Art Museum was new to us.
The exhibition consisted of a lot modern art by Seattle artists as well as their original collection of German masters.
Having lived here for over 22 years, we had only explored Seattle's China Town once. So, we had dinner in Uwajimaya--a collection of Asian favorite cuisines.
OK, Spencer found some French crepes, but the rest of us had Japanese, Thai and Korean meals.
And yes, New Year's Eve featured food too. We had both chocolate and cheese fondu.
We played a lot of games: Phase Ten, Say Anything, Telestrations, and Morphology.
Lauren kept our music play list going while we played. For we need a little music,
Need a little laughter . . . Need a little Christmas longer!
