We had a sunny day, so we thought we would explore one of the state parks on the Sound.
My camera lens shows specs in certain light! But as they say in Western Washington, "the mountain is out!"
It was low tide so we could walk around a point stepping on very sharp barnacles.
There was a lone canoer soaking up some rays.
Karl thought he would try a fresh crab.
Looking across the Sound to Fox and Raft Islands.
We even stayed until sunset -- at 4:32 PM!

What a pretty day! I love the parks along the Sound. Peaceful and always a little different from the time before.
