We have done the local turkey trot for many years now. Every year it increases in size and gets more elaborate. This year they added a fancy start and finish line.
They also added microchips for all the "official" runners. Mason is hooking his chip onto his shoe. He ran the 5K but wished he had a partner to run the 10K. He had a friend lined up but he hurt his knee a few days earlier.
We walked it (briskly) but took a photo break since the mountain was out. You have to look hard and you can see it.
There were lots walkers and runners and strollers and dogs so they closed down the street.
Mason beat us back by a long shot.
