Christmas in the Northwest

Spencer had some no-school days before the girls got home.  He decided, although he has never sewn before, to make them both aprons.

He practiced other hand-work skills too.  He learned to cross stitch!

We had lots of game nights.  Five Second Rule was a fun new game.

Spencer's treat he left out for Santa.  (He happens to know Santa really likes olives!)

Christmas morning modeling new jammies and a brother-made apron!

Sporting my hand-knit infinity scarf!

Christmas brunch after gifts and before church.

No taste testing New Year's Eve games here, but we did sample Grandpa's Christmas mustard set!

The very best part of the holiday was talking to this guy!

Second best was playing games and eating snacks with Val!

Another round of games and snacks.

We needed some exercise so we took a hike in a local park.

Checked out Kopachuck Park too.

Strolled through the Wright Park Arboretum.

It was so comfortably warm, we wanted to stay.

We went and saw La La Land and got a bite at Shake Shake Shake after.
