Ft. Worden is one of our favorite places to go. Spencer and Karl went camping at the lower camp ground this month.
The lower camp ground is close to the bunkers, the beach and the light house; but it is always windy. They ended up having to get up in the middle of the night to re-stake tents in the wind and rain.
There are always plenty of deer.
The bunkers are fun to explore.
Or make rock sculptures.
Just don't smell inside them. It's not a pretty smell.
