We tried out cross country skiing in Leavenworth on a clear, cold New Year's Eve. Lauren was even able to ski with stitches still in her toe.
Karl took all these photos and we never got one of him on skis! Mason really reminded me of Mike. He kind of looked like a high school Mike and he was a natural.
We never got any action shots. There was one hill just up the path from here where Mason, Linds and I all fell down. That would have been quite a picture!
It was really pretty with the sun shining through the trees. Leavenworth has three different groomed trails. We would all like to give it a try again sometime.
