Linds and her friends on the last day of school celebrated by burning their school work.
Apparently, they didn't feel the need to hang on to stuff to prove they had turned it in.
They were done with all their notebooks.
And highlighted articles.
I can appreciate this one! I'm done with the Springboard curriculum -- it's worth burning!

For some reason the picture of the kids standing around the fire reminds me of Twilight. There probably isn't even a bonfire scene in the book but something about the way they're standing and the coloring of the shot.
