Lauren has entertained us this summer with an assortment of new menus. Here is our barbecued Mexi-Cali pizza and grilled corn. The pizza has black beans, garlic, lemon juice and cilantro whipped into a paste for the sauce. It is topped with tomatoes, green onions, Jack cheese and chopped olives. It was yummy! We cooked the pizza dough on one side, flipped it and then topped it so it was a crispy crust.
We have had the sunniest, driest June ever except for the day of the Gig Harbor parade. For the parade we had June gloom.
Linds marched in the parade with her high school service group. They helped Harbor Hounds walk their dogs.
She got the easy job of holding the sign!
