Mason was sanding the hand rail on our deck only to have his foot fall through a dry rotted board. So, he quickly began the demolition job.
Since Karl's deck repair two years ago resulted in elbow and wrist surgery, he was happy to let Mason take over the job.
At first we were only going to replace a few boards. But when we saw how good the new wood looked,
we couldn't bring ourselves to paint it again.
So Mason applied two coats of stain.
Now he just needs to get back to sanding the railing and replacing the planter box.
