After 83 days of sun, our pattern shifted just in time for our stake center ground breaking. And after 6 1/2 years of waiting for a stake center of our very own, the day finally came. It rained through the entire ceremony so it was nice to have the awnings.
Spencer tried his hand in turning over a bit of soil.
I took a very poor picture of the officials ceremoniously turning the dirt. Hopefully, we will get a better photo passed on to us for the stake history book.
