Japan

We made it home last night. We had a great trip! We saw lots of temples, shrines, castles and Japanese---can you find me in this picture of Asakusa Temple in Tokyo?

Here is a typical portion of our meal: the fish! This happens to be flounder and I ate a good part of it!

We saw a lot of castles. This is Himeji one of the best examples. As you can see, we were not too late for the cherry blossoms.

The popular Japanese teenage girl trend is to find a friend and dress as twins. These girls are NOT related! Also, coloring your hair red is popular too.

Mt. Fuji came out of the clouds for us. We weren't sure it was going to happen. The belief is that if you go to Mt. Fuji and see it--you will return to Japan some day.

Our bus said "Fantastic Story"--made it easy to find in a mass of buses.

Karl gave all his lectures on the bus. They were greatly appreciated even with his laryngitis.
