Bridge Work

It was an 86 degree day--one of the last of the year--so we headed to the beach to check out bridge construction.

We went to check out construction on the new bridge. (The old bridge is green, the new one is concrete.) The barge is holding the bridge deck which was constructed in Korea and shipped over here. The process of hanging it requires just the right tidal conditions but creates traffic messes thanks to everyone slowing to watch.

Mason threw some rocks in the water. It was fish jumping time. I have never seen so many fish jumping in the Sound! We were told they were silver salmon.
